The Hub, Campbelltown
The Hub Community aims to build food security, safe relationships, and also, helpful life skills for people in our local area.
The Hub achieves this by providing access to a food pantry that offers both emergency food relief through a partnership with St Vincent De Paul, and also, access to low cost essential groceries. This form of operating means we can support people with a range of food security needs.
The Hub also has an Op Shop, which often helps homeless people with essential items, and we run a weekly community lunch. Our community lunch is an amazing meal in which our church serves our community, and also, provides a safe place to talk about life circumstances and offer prayer.
Our Community garden is also a safe place for people to grow healthy and nutritious food. It produces fresh and healthy ingredients for our community lunch, and fresh vegetables to go into our food pantry.
On top of this we also provide a breakfast club in our local primary school, a play group and monthly cooking classes.
